SEO & AI visibility
Be found when customers search for your solution.
A good website does little if Google does not understand it and AI assistants do not mention you. We make the technology, structure and content clear enough for search systems to classify your offering. How quickly this takes effect depends on your market; nobody can guarantee rankings.

AI overview
A roof renovation usually involves assessment, quote, removal and re-roofing. Regional firms give prices after an inspection.

Who this service is for
For businesses whose website hardly appears for relevant search queries, and for businesses that want to be found in a region. Also useful before a relaunch, so that existing visibility is preserved.
What we deliver
- Technical audit: crawling, indexing, load times, mobile display, redirects, error pages
- Action list sorted by urgency
- Assignment of the important search queries to one page each
- Implementation of titles, descriptions, headings, internal linking and structured data, as agreed in the quote
- Revised or new copy for service pages, guides and FAQ, as agreed
- Setup or revision of the Google Business Profile, as agreed
- Reporting in Search Console with interim goals
Costs
- One-off
- No flat price. The audit, implementation of measures and new copy are one-time costs; the scope is set out in the quote after the intro call.
- Ongoing
- Only if you want ongoing support: monitoring, reporting and new content. It is shown separately from the audit.
- Depends on
- Size of the website, Number of pages and texts to be created, Competition and region, one-time audit or ongoing support
What we need from you5
- Read access to Search Console and, if available, Analytics
- Access to the website or content management system if we are to implement changes ourselves
- Access to the Google Business Profile
- Information on services, service area and target customers, plus your expertise for the copy
- Approval of the texts and the action list
Requirements and limits5
- Rankings in Google or AI answers are not guaranteed; the providers decide on those.
- Technical improvements often show after weeks, new content usually only after months.
- In competitive markets it takes longer. Algorithms change, fluctuations are normal.
- We cannot replace reviews. Purchased reviews and links are not part of what we do.
- If your website's technology is the obstacle, a relaunch may be necessary; this is offered separately.
The path to the customer
From search query to contact
Visibility can be lost at every stage. That's where we start.
- 1
Search query
A person types or asks an AI what they need. Usually with a specific need, often tied to a location.
- 2
Search result
Your page competes with titles, descriptions, map listings and answers. The clearest one gets chosen.
- 3
Service page
The page answers exactly this question, loads quickly and reads well on mobile.
- 4
Trust
Clear information, real photos, contacts and answers to typical questions remove doubt.
- 5
Contact
Call, book an appointment or enquire: the next step is visible and easy to reach.
Where visibility is lost
- Search result
Anyone searching for you finds your competitors
You are good at what you do, but for "tax advisor in your city" or "replace heating" others show up. Often it is not about quality, but about the website not answering the search query.
- Service page
The page does not say what visitors want to know
A catch-all "Services" page with three keywords does not answer any specific question. Search engines reward pages that cover a topic completely and clearly, and so do visitors.
- Search result
Technology slows you down unseen
Duplicate pages, missing titles, long load times or pages that never make it into the index: you cannot see such errors by looking at the website, yet they cost visibility month after month.
- Search query
AI answers name others
More and more people ask ChatGPT, Google with AI Overviews or Perplexity. Clear, well-supported and well-structured content increases the chance of being represented correctly. This cannot be guaranteed.
The pillars of visibility
Technology, content and structure work together
What we concretely do for your visibility
Technical foundation
Without clean technology, even the best content achieves little: what isn't crawled and indexed can't be found.

We check crawling, indexing, load times, mobile display, redirects and error pages. You receive a list sorted by urgency that you can work through.

✕One catch-all page for everything: pages compete or are missing.
✓One page per query with a clear job.
Relevant content
Search engines and visitors reward pages that answer a question completely and clearly.
Search intent and keyword mapping
Every important search query gets exactly one fitting page, and every page a clear job. That way your own pages do not compete with each other and nothing important is left uncovered.
Content that answers questions
Service pages, guides and FAQ in clear language, based on your expertise. Written for people who want to know something, not for a keyword list.
Structure and clarity for search systems
Clear paths for visitors and unambiguous information for Google and AI systems.

}Page structure and internal links
Menu, headings and linking follow your customers' logic. Visitors reach the answer in a few clicks, and search engines recognize which pages are central for you.
Local discoverability
Consistent business details, a well-maintained Google Business Profile, and clear location and service-area information. This matters most for businesses that want to be found in a region.
Structured data and AI readability
Schema.org markup, concise answer sections and unambiguous information about your business help Google and AI systems capture and attribute you correctly.

Classic search and AI answers
Same foundation, different presentation
Search systems read your content differently. We prepare it so that each system can interpret it.
- A unique title and a clear description per page
- One page per search query instead of a catch-all page
- Fast pages that read well on mobile
- Internal links that support key pages
Result: your page appears with a fitting title and description.
- A well-maintained Google Business Profile
- Consistent business data everywhere
- Clear location and service-area details
- Genuine customer reviews
Result: your listing can appear on the map and in local results.
- Concise answer sections under clear headings
- Substantiated, unambiguous statements instead of platitudes
- Structured data using Schema.org
- Unambiguous information about your company
Result: your content can be understood and reproduced correctly.
Important: Whether and how a system mentions you is the provider's decision. We improve the prerequisites, but we guarantee neither rankings nor inclusion in AI answers.
Typical starting points
Who benefits from SEO
- Local service providers and trades businesses
- Practices, law firms and consultancies
- Businesses with an existing but invisible website
- Providers whose services need explaining
- 01
Trades: be named first in your region
A roofing company wants to appear for "roof renovation" in its area. We assign services to their own pages, maintain the business profile and align details everywhere.
- 02
Medical practice: answer patient questions
A practice wants patients to find the right information about treatments. We build clear topic pages with precise details on procedure, appointments and directions.
- 03
Consultancy: make expertise visible
A management consultancy explains complex services. With guide articles on real questions from the target audience, trust builds before the first conversation.
- 04
New website: search-friendly from the start
For a new build or relaunch, we plan structure, URLs, redirects and metadata from the outset so that existing visibility is not lost.
Content cluster
A topic map instead of many individual pages
From the main topic via subtopics to service pages and guides. Choose a subtopic.
Example: roofing company
Subtopics
Service pages
- Roof renovation
- Insulation and energy
Supporting guides
- ↗When is a renovation worthwhile?
- ↗Process of a roof renovation
Example of a topic map. Each service page has a clear job; guides answer questions beforehand and link to it.
Action plan
From audit to lasting visibility
Five phases that repeat: what we measure determines the next round.
- 1
Analysis
We review the starting point, goals and technology.
- Clarify goals and starting point: what do you sell, where and to whom?
- Technical audit with a prioritized action list
- 2
Prioritisation
Search queries are matched to pages, and actions are sorted by urgency.
- Keyword mapping: assign search queries to the right pages
- 3
Optimisation
Structure, technology, content and structured data are implemented.
- Implement structure, technology and internal links
- Write or revise content, add structured data
- 4
Monitoring
Progress is reviewed regularly.
- Monitoring and regular reporting in Search Console
- 5 ↻
Further development
The reviews yield new topics and the next round of actions.
Start with the audit
In the intro call we clarify goals and starting point. The quote itemises setup and ongoing support separately.
How we work and where the limits are
Reputable way of working
SEO takes time, and search providers have rules. We only implement measures that will still hold up in years and will not harm your website.
- No guaranteed rankings, neither in Google nor in AI answers
- No purchased links, no purchased or manipulated reviews
- No mass-produced generator texts without expert review
- Access to your accounts only to the extent necessary, revocable at any time
- Privacy-compliant handling of analytics and tracking data
Data sources
Data sources and tools
We work with data you already have or can set up easily. You only grant read access, and only as far as needed.
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics, if set up
- Google Business Profile
- Crawling and performance checks
- Bing Webmaster Tools
- Your content management system or your website directly
Results and measurability
How you can tell progress
We set interim goals upfront and review regularly. These five metrics are meaningful.
Organic impressions
Search Console
How often your pages were shown in search results. Shows whether you become visible for more search queries.
Qualified clicks
Search Console, Analytics
Visits from search to pages that match your offer, not just any visitors.
Visible search queries
Search Console
Which terms your website appears for. Growing variety shows that topics are well covered.
Enquiries from organic channels
Your enquiries, Analytics if set up
Calls, forms and appointment bookings that come from search. This is the number that matters in the end.
Technical development
Crawling and performance checks
Indexed pages, errors and load times over time. Shows whether the foundation stays stable.
Result
What you get out of it
A clean technical foundation instead of hidden errors
Every important search query has a fitting, clearly assigned page
Content that convinces visitors and that search systems understand
A traceable action list instead of gut feeling
Better prerequisites for being named in Google and AI answers
Actual results depend on the starting point, scope and implementation. We do not give guarantees of success.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does SEO cost for small businesses?
It depends on the scope: a one-time audit with an action list is something different from ongoing support with new content. There is no flat price. After an intro call you receive a quote that shows setup and ongoing support separately and describes exactly what is included. Be cautious with blanket promises offering quick first-place results at rock-bottom prices.
How long does it take for SEO to work?
There is no fixed duration. Fixed technical errors sometimes show after weeks, while new content often needs several months to establish itself. In very competitive markets it takes longer. We therefore set interim goals you can follow yourself in Search Console, for example more indexed pages and impressions.
Can PageLeo guarantee a ranking?
No, and any provider who promises that is not acting in good faith. The search engine decides on rankings. We improve the prerequisites: technology, structure, content and trust signals. We show you transparently what we have done and what has measurably changed.
What is AI visibility or GEO?
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. It means that your content is so clear, well-supported and well-structured that AI searches such as Google with AI Overviews, ChatGPT or Perplexity can understand and correctly reproduce it. It builds largely on good SEO. Whether a system names you is decided by the provider, not by us.
Do I need local SEO?
If your customers come from a region, yes. Local SEO concerns searches such as "electrician in Kassel" or "dentist near me". What matters are a well-maintained Google Business Profile, consistent business details, location pages with real content and genuine customer reviews. We reject purchased reviews.
Which is better: SEO or Google Ads?
Both have their place. Ads bring visitors quickly but end as soon as you stop the budget. SEO builds more slowly but lasts, and often costs less per visit. For many small businesses the organic foundation is worth doing first; ads can add to it later in a targeted way.
Do I have to rebuild my website for this?
Not necessarily. Many improvements can be made on the existing website. Only if the technology or system causes fundamental problems do we recommend a relaunch. We will tell you in the audit.
How does it work with data protection and tracking?
We mainly evaluate Search Console, which does not require visitor profiles. If you also use analytics tools, consent and privacy policy should match. This is a general guide, not legal advice; for binding statements please contact your data protection officer or your lawyer.
